Icelandic authors in Graz
The latest issue of Austrian literature magazine Lichtungen, which celebrates it‘s 30th anniversary this year, is dedicated to Icelandic literature. The issue collects poetry and short stories by Steinar Bragi, Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl, Kristín Eiríksdóttir, Þórdís Björnsdóttir, Ingólfur Gíslason, Kristín Ómarsdóttir and Sjón.
To promote the issue a book reading was held November 30th in the city of Graz, under the title „Ferne & Nähe“ / „Distant & near“. Steinar Bragi, Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl and Kristín Eiríkisdóttir, representatives of the distancea, read from their works along with other Austrian authors.
