Highway 1 revisited
German author Finn-Ole Heinrich has completed two video works containing scenes from his recent visit to Iceland. Last spring, Heinrich was part of a troupe of five artists who hit the Icelandic highways in search of stories – old and new – in a collaboration between Sagenhaftes Island and Goethe Institut Dänemark. As can be seen in the second clip, the quintet's journey took an eventful turn when they were unexpectedly enveloped in the ash cloud of erupting volcano Eyjafjallajökull.
